Valentine’s Day – Outfit Guide

Now that you have a list of gifts that Cupid can bring you, why not an outfit to go along with it? We all have different ideas of what to wear on this one, as it really all depends on how you celebrate! Some couples go the fancy expensive dinner route, your single ladies may be heading out for a fun girl’s night, or if you are like my and my other half, you are basically doing what you would do any night and eating some takeout while binge watching Netflix (Personally planning on finishing up the Bodyguard!) But not to worry here are a few ideas that will get you dressed and out the door for whichever celebration you are partaking in!

Fancy – Romantic dinner on tap? Keep things sexy in a LWD – Little White Dress – the bright alternative to your usual winter LBD! Yes, you can wear white in the winter! And this lends itself to being a blank canvas for fun and flirty accessories! Bright shoes and a statement (yet warm!) jacket and bag ties it all together for your big night out! And if you and babe eat anything like mine and I do, maybe ask for a few extra napkins so you don’t get anything spilled on it!

Girl’s Night – Think sexy and liberated! Leather leggings/coated dark jeans and a low cut top will have you dancing on bar tops till they kick you out! Isn’t this how every girl’s night usually goes? Something comfortable, but revealing, just enough to lure in any gentlemen suitors, if you want! This top was a steal from my go to ASOS for under $40 bucks, and I can’t wait to wear it out. Easily dressed up with gold metallic accessories or even some bold red velvet accents!

Casual Celebrations – Sitting on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a little champs with babe? Cozy up in this cute sweater, comfy high rise jean combo. I’m definitely team “sweatpants” when I am home, but hell, it’s a holiday, a little effort won’t kill ya! I have to say, these are my first official high rise jeans and while I’m not completely converted, I have to say these are pretty darn comfortable! I sized up just to leave a room for all of out take out. Let’s be real, this girl likes to eat! But I could have definitely gone with my usual size, and probably will but in a darker less causal style! And the price isn’t at all bad either!

Whether it’s a big night out or something more low key, it’s more important to enjoy the one you are with for the night, but looking good doesn’t hurt. Happy Valentine’s loves!
